Thus, Hadinoto, who is also the former director of Engineering and Fleet Management of PT Garuda Indonesia 2007-2012, will immediately be tried.
"Today, the KPK investigating team carried out phase II (submission of the suspect and evidence) of the HS suspect to the JPU (Public Prosecutor) team where previously the case files were declared complete," said Acting KPK spokesman, Ali Fikri, in his statement in Jakarta. , reported by Antara, Wednesday, December 30.
Soedigno's detention, he said, then became the JPU's authority and carried out detention for 20 days from December 30, 2020 to January 18, 2021 at the KPK Detention Center for the Pomdam Jaya Guntur Branch, Jakarta.
"Within 14 working days, the prosecutors' team drafted the indictment and immediately submitted the case files to the Corruption Court (Corruption Crime). The trial is scheduled at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court," he said.
He said that during the investigation process Soedigno had examined 60 witnesses from various elements including internal parties at PT Garuda Indonesia.
The determination of Soedigno as a suspect is the development of a case that ensnared former President Director of PT Garuda Indonesia 2005-2014, Emirsyah Satar, and owner of PT Mugi Rekso Abadi (MRA) and Connaught International Pte Ltd, Soetikno Soedarjo.
In the construction of the case called for the aircraft renovation program, Satar entered into several purchase contracts with four aircraft manufacturers in 2008-2013 with a value of billions of US dollars, namely Rolls Royce, Airbus SAS, Avions de Transport Regional (ATR), and Bombardier.
As a business / commercial consultant from Rolls-Royce, Airbus and ATR, Soedarjo is suspected of having received commissions from the three manufacturers. In addition, Soetikno is also suspected of receiving a commission from a Hong Kong company called Hollingsworth Management Limited International Ltd (HMI) who is the Sales Representative of Bombardier.
Soedarjo then gave a portion of the commission to Satar and Hadinoto as prizes for winning contracts by four manufacturers.
Soedarjo allegedly gave 2.3 million US dollars and 477,000 euros which were sent to Soedigno's account in Singapore.
Soedigno allegedly withdrew the money in cash and then sent it to other accounts, including his wife and children, as well as an investment account in Singapore. The aim is to conceal or disguise the origin of the bribe in order to avoid being monitored by the competent authorities both in Indonesia and in Singapore.
