Look At The Residents Of Bandung, This Is The Road Section That Is Closed On New Year's Eve

JAKARTA - The Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of the Bandung Police and the Bandung City Transportation Agency implemented engineering to close a number of roads on New Year's Eve 2021. This is to prevent crowds of people in the context of handling COVID-19.

Head of the Operational Section (KBO) of the Bandung Traffic Police, AKP Dody Kuswanto, said the 23 points of the road that were closed were divided into Ring 1, Ring 2.

According to him, one of the roads has been closed since 17.00 WIB, while the rest was closed since 18.00 WIB.

"Road closures and blockages use water barriers from 18.00 WIB to 05.00 WIB, except for Jalan Dipatiukur, road closures are carried out early starting at 17.00 WIB," said Dody at Bandung City Hall, West Java, Wednesday.

Then traffic engineering was also carried out on eight accesses to the Bandung City area such as toll gates and arterial lanes which are included in the Ring 3 category.

"Ring III is carried out selectively in the form of inspection of all vehicles entering the city of Bandung by joint officers," he said.

"If it is clear that people will celebrate New Year's activities in open vehicles, the procession will be returned back," he added.

The following are the road points where the closure engineering is carried out:

Ring I is Jl Otista (Pasar Baru), Jl Asia Afrika-Jl Tamblong, Jl Naripan-Jl Tamblong, Jl Braga, Jl Banceuy-Jl Asia Afrika, Jl Lembong-Jl Tamblong, Jl Merdeka, Jl Ir. H. Juanda (Cikago to Simpang Dago), Jl Purnawarman, Jl Dipatiukur (Closed from 17.00 WIB) and Jl Alun-alun Timur

Ring II (along the South Ring Road leading to the city center), namely Jl Ahmad Yani-Jl Martadinata, Jl Gatsu-Jl Pelajar Pejuang 45, Jl Talaga Bodas-Jl Pelajar Pejuang 45, Jl Lodaya-Jl Pelajar Pejuang 45, Jl Buah Batu -Jl Pelajar Pejuang 45, Jl. Sriwijaya-Jl Pelajar Pejuang 45, Jl M Ramdhan-Jl Pelajar Pejuang 45, Jl Moch. Toha-Jl Pelajar Pejuang 45, Jl Otista-Jl BKR, Jl Kopo-Jl Peta, Jl Pasir Koja-Jl Peta and Jl Jamika-Jl Peta (Simpang 5 B)

Ring III (Entrance to Bandung City), namely, Cibiru Roundabout, Cibeureum, Ledeng, Pasteur Toll Exit, Pasir Koja Toll Exit, Kopo Toll Exit, Moch Toha Toll Exit and Buah Batu Toll Exit.
