Residents Of Pondok Aren Ngaku Kena Pungli, Head Of Parigi Lama Village: Report, If You Know I Can Fire
SOUTH TANGERANG - A resident of Parigi Lama, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang complained about illegal levies when he wanted to take care of the service for making ID cards.
To VOI, the resident who asked for his identity to be kept secret said that the incident occurred at the end of mid-December 2022. This resident was worried that if he disclosed in detail the time of the incident during the ID card processing, his identity could be exposed.
This resident admitted that he came to the village to take care of making ID cards. He plans to move domicile from the previous place.
"During the arrangement, there were unscrupulous village employees who asked me for money," he said, Tuesday, January 24.
Because of confusion and feeling needed, this resident was 'forced' to give Rp500 thousand to the male sub-district employee.
"Sekarang saya baru menerima suket (sakut keterangan), belum mendapatkan KTP fisiknya," kata dia.
"Even though the service in the kelurahan has been written free," he continued, hoping that this kind of practice could be eradicated soon.
VOI then tried to contact the Head of Parigi Lama Village, Rahmat. He admitted that he had not received any reports regarding the existence of extortion in his place. However, he admitted that he would find out about the information.
"Yes (find out), that's embarrassing bro, sorry. I want to embarrass you bro. What is certain is that you will be given a sanction, at least a warning, you can even be fired," said Rahmat, Tuesday, January 24.
Rahmat ensured that residents who want to take care of all administrative needs in their place will not be charged any fees. Therefore, he appealed to residents, if they see or experience acts of extortion in the village office, they immediately report it to them.
"It's FREE, there's writing free, there's a service desk. The service desk is really big, making ID cards or something. (So) my appeal is, what if you take care of it, don't use brokers, brokers or brokers," he concluded.
