Detection Of Other Victims Of The Killer Wowon Series Case, West Java Police Opening Complaint Post

The West Java Regional Police (West Java Police) has opened a complaint post to invite residents to report if they know of another victim of a serial killer or'series killer' Wowon Erawan alias Aki in the West Java area.

West Java Police Head of Humas Kombes Ibrahim Tompo said information from residents was needed for investigation. Even so, according to him, the case was handled by Polda Metro Jaya.

"If anyone complains, we will help to distribute (to Polda Metro Jaya)," Ibrahim said in Bandung, quoted by ANTARA Tuesday, January 24.

According to him, the West Java Regional Police did not make a special complaint post for residents who felt they were victims of Wowon and his friends.

Ibrahim explained that although several locations in the Wowon series of cases were in West Java, the case was fully handled by Polda Metro Jaya investigators.

A number of areas in West Java, such as Cianjur, Garut, and West Bandung, are locations that are included in a series of cases of Wowon serial murder.

In that case, Polda Metro Jaya arrested Wowon along with two other suspects, namely Solihin alias Duloh, and Dede Solehudin. The three were suspected of having committed serial murder, causing as many as nine victims to die.

The case began with the discovery of a family who died in an unnatural way at a house in Bekasi, West Java. Bekasi is an area that is included in the Polda Metro Jaya.

"The investigation is still in progress, this is not over yet," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.
