LGBT Protects Behavior, The Malay Customary Council Asks The Riau Government To Eliminate Public Diseases
PEKANBARU - Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPH) of the Riau Malay Customary Institute (LAMR) Datuk Seri Taufik Ikram Jamil said religion prohibits lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) behavior and Allah SWT is very angry because it brings the country closer to love.
"LGBT behavior can have a bad influence on people's lives and the younger generation so that religion stipulates that LGBT deviates from customary and Malay religious provisions," said Datuk Seri Taufik Ikram Jamil, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 24.
He said that in the Malay tradition, which is uniformly friendly, and we play a role, we apply the principle, the traditional "talk" to use it, then by asking for forgiveness from Allah Subhanahu Wataala, LAMR Riau Province issued a fatwa or decided that they refused the understanding of LGBT's deviant behavior.
In addition, it rejects the existence of an LGBT organization in any form, and confirms that this understanding of behavior is contrary to the values of Malay culture.
"LAMR urges local governments and the Riau Provincial DPRD to make a Riau Province Regional Regulation (Perda) on LGBT and law enforcement to prohibit and or not give permission for any activities related to LGBT groups such as through the art, sports, leaflets and posters stage," he said.
He said LAMR asked local governments to take steps to get rid of this community disease from the yellow economy. We urge the public and families to always be aware of the development of this group, while protecting families and the environment from the spread of LGBT.
"LAMR districts/cities, LAMR areas, LAMR sub-districts, LKAM Luhak/negrity/Kepunghuluan, Pebatinan/Batin throughout Riau to monitor LGBT behavior with various forms of LGBT activities in their respective regions and can impose customary sanctions on LGBT behavior in accordance with local wisdom of each traditional community," he said.
Local governments also need to socialize the dangers of this LGBT for early prevention and involve cross-agency and provide treatment through psychological consultants, medical and religious approaches for those with problems.
