Remember Conor McGregor's Case Of Treatment Against A Woman? This CONTINUES The Story

JAKARTA - Spanish police have reopened their investigation into the case of a woman who claimed to have been attacked by UFC star Conor McGregor. Previous reports said the incident occurred aboard the Irish fighter's luxury yacht.

The incident allegedly occurred on July 17, 2022, coinciding with McGregor holding his 34th birthday celebration.

The woman reportedly suffered bruises from this incident. The victim has also filed an official complaint with the police about McGregor after returning to Ireland.

The woman admitted that the sports star kicked, slapped, and forced her off the cruise ship. As a result, he also experienced serious problems with his wrist.

The case was temporarily suspended last summer as the victim did not give a complete statement to police in Formentera.

The victim explained that he did not give a complete statement at the time because he was in a state of shock and only wore a bikini during interrogation. Therefore, he just wanted to go home.

In addition, he added, at the time he was frustrated that Spanish police could not speak English.

However, the court in Spain is now reopening the case due to a request for reform from the woman's lawyer. A judge is expected to take statements from suspects, victims, and witnesses in the coming weeks.

The victim reported McGregor started aggressively after his birthday celebration. The fighter kicked him and made him fall to the ground before hitting him.

To avoid the attack, the victim jumped into the water. The woman was reportedly rescued shortly thereafter by the Red Cross ship and taken to medical center.

He was interrogated by Civil Guard before starting his journey back to Dublin.

The Civil Guard took him to the ferry to return to Ibiza. However, there he contacted a friend who then accompanied him on a trip to Dublin by flight via Palma.

Police from both countries are working together on ongoing investigations. However, so far McGregor has not commented on the claims once.
