60 Women Joined In Online Prostitutional Sites, Police Set Admin Embedding.com Suspects

JAKARTA - The police uncovered allegations of online prostitution practices through the Sprinkling.com site. It is known, as many as 60 women are members of the telegram group of the website or page account.

Tambora Police Chief, Kompol Putra Pratama said there was one perpetrator with the initials MC (24) who was named a suspect for the practice of online prostitution. He acts as an admin and pimp on the page.

"The average number of women who joined the MC account came from Jakarta, Bandung and Malang, there were around 60 women who joined the MC's telegram group," Putra said in his statement, Sunday, January 22.

"We have named the account owner and admin group telegram as a suspect," he added.

Putra explained that the practice of the proposition was revealed to have started from information on the website of the men's lustful service. On that basis, he ordered his staff to trace the truth of the page.

"The team managed to join a special telegram group that peddles online prostitution called Big Pertamax. This telegram group contains photos of women offered along with prices and types of services," he said.

In the process of his disclosure, the police pretended to order via the Big Pertamax telegram Group so that they managed to secure one woman.

Furthermore, his party explored the information from the woman until it was finally revealed to the admin and pimp of the practice.

"Officers managed to arrest the admin group telegram Big Pertamx in an apartment in the Pulogadung area, East Jakarta (and) two other women who were in the apartment room," he said.

The perpetrator was then taken to the Tambora Police Station for further investigation regarding the case of the online prostitution practice case.

As a result, the perpetrator admitted that he played a role in recruiting prospective commercial sex workers (PSK) online. Later, the pimp will benefit by 15 percent from the woman's offer.

"The profit of five is 15 percent of the proceeds from offering women on Big Pertamax telegram accounts with a price range of 2-4 million rupiah," he said.

For this incident, the perpetrator must be held accountable for his actions by being charged with Article 295 in conjunction with Article 506 of the Criminal Code and or Article 30 in conjunction with Article 4 paragraph 2 letter d of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography and or Article 2 paragraph 2 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2007 concerning Trafficking in Persons.
