Acting Governor Of Gorontalo Asks Tourism Actors With MSMEs
GORONTALO - Tourism actors in Gorontalo are expected to empower residents around tourist attractions. In addition, they are also asked to grow the local creative economy.
These two things are the key to the growth of the regional tourism industry. This was conveyed by the Governor of Gorontalo Hamka Hendra Noer at the inauguration of the Riva Beach Resort.
"Please invite them, MSME actors," said Hamka Hendra, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, January 21.
The Acting Governor asked tourism actors to foster residents and MSME actors. In addition, the potential for local handicrafts, both culinary, fashion, crafts, music, performance arts and photography must also be absorbed.
According to him, this potential must be utilized optimally for the welfare of the people of Gorontalo Province.
Hamka also invited the community and all resort owners to continue to love the surrounding environment, especially for villages that have tourism potential.
"Keep cleanliness, preserve the ecosystem so that it can boost tourism growth in the regions," said Hamka.
Meanwhile, Bone Bolango Regent Hamim Pou supports the opening and inauguration of the Shava Beach Resort. According to him, the new resort in Bone Bolango Regency will become one of the icons in Gorontalo Province.
"I am also grateful for employing local residents who can increase public opinion," said Hamim Pou.
