Depok City Government Budgets Rp 88 Billion, Build Public Service Malls

Depok City Government (Pemkot) will build a Public Service Mall (MPP) financed by the West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov) worth IDR 8.8 billion.

Head of the Mangguluang Mansur One Stop Integrated Service Investment Service (DPMPTSP) said that in 2023 his party received financial assistance from the West Java Provincial Government of Rp. 8.8 billion for MPP development, so it can be ascertained that Depok City already has MPP in 2023.

"The construction of this MPP is in accordance with the direction of the Vice President and also the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform, which expects that by 2024 all regencies/cities will already have MPP," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, January 20.

Mangnguluang explained that currently MPP in Depok City is still in the design stage, after that there will be an auction stage and so on. It is estimated that around May 2023 construction has begun.

"We are targeting the construction to be completed this year and can be operated immediately," he said

He said that with the construction of MPP, the public can access public services in one location. MPP is planned to be located on the right side of the inner part of the Dibaleka I building or in front of the DMPTSP room of Depok City.

"So we will shift the ATM, later all public services will gather there. We will direct all vertical agencies, BUMN, BUMD to join there," he explained.
