Densus 88 Ciduk 3 Terrorists In Jakarta And Banten, One Of The Perpetrators Involved In The NII Network
The National Police's Anti-terror Special Detachment (Densus) 88 arrested three suspects for terrorism in the Jakarta and Banten areas today.Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the National Police's Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, said the three suspects came from two different networks, each with the initials AS, ARH and SN."The US suspect was arrested in the North Jakarta area," said Ramadhan as quoted by Antara, Friday, January 20 evening.Then the suspect ARH was arrested in the South Jakarta area, and suspect SN was arrested in South Tangerang, Banten Province.The one-star general explained that the US suspect was involved in the Indonesian Islamic State (NII) terrorist network."While the ARH and SN suspects are fugitives on the wanted list (DPO)," he said.Suspect ARH and SN, said Ramadhan, DPO arrested a terrorist crime in March 2021."The two suspects came from an organizational group that had been dissolved by the Condet branch government," he said.The involvement of the two suspects, continued Ramadhan, plans to make bombs and will be used in acts of terror.
