Roy Suryo Reveals How Gisel's Mesum Video Can Reappear, Even Though It Has Been Deleted

"This means that Gisel has indeed deleted the video, it's just that what was deleted was the initial file of the many kilobytes of data stored in the cellphone memory," said Roy Suryo.

Roy said it was possible that the remaining metadata could still be displayed again using a data recovery program. As long as it is not crushed or badly damaged.

"It is technically possible, as long as the storage device or media is not completely destroyed. The data can still be revealed again," said Roy Suryo.

For that, Roy reminded the general public to be more careful in using gadgets and using them as well as possible. This is because the stored data is not completely erased.

"This case can be a valuable lesson for all of us to be careful in behaving, behaving and also acting using IT gadgets / devices, because digital traces will indeed be able to exist and even be exposed long after it occurs," he explained.

In this case, Gisel was charged with layered articles with the threat of a criminal sentence of 12 years in prison. Investigators use Article 4 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 29 and or Article 8 of Law 44 of 2008 concerning pornography.
