The summons was sent by Sunan Kalijaga who represented the family."We received information that there was a public figure, an athlete we suspect, who deliberately distributed a video from Ferry Irawan without permission and without rights that embarrassed the family and got bullied," said Sunan in South Jakarta, Thursday, January 19."For that, at this moment, openly, I as the attorney representing Ferry Irawan's extended family have summoned Denny Sumargo," said Sunan accompanied by one of Ferry Irawan's younger siblings.As is well known, Densu, Denny Sumargo's nickname, broadcasted a podcast video with Verrell Bramasta and Athalla Naufal guests on Monday, January 16 yesterday.On the podcast, Verrell showed Densu a video via cellphone, where Ferry Irawan cried and apologized. Verrell also showed other photos and videos when talking about the alleged domestic violence that happened to his mother, Venna Melinda.Claiming to forget to have his team cut the part that featured Ferry Irawan's video crying, Densu finally decided to cut the section after it went viral and spread widely on social media.Sunan Kalijaga assessed that Densu's actions had violated the ITE Law and asked the former national basketball athlete to apologize."We suspect this act violates the ITE Law, until now the person has not apologized, for good faith with our client's family," he said.Menilai bahwa keluarga Ferry Irawan sangat dirugikan atas podcast tersebut, sang pengacara memberikan waktu 3x24 jam bagi Densu untuk menyatakan permintaan maaf terhadap kliennya.
