The Issue Of Putri Candrawathi-Brigadir J Cheating In Ma'ruf's Strong Claims File, AGO: Bumbu-budung Session

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) said that the prosecutor's conclusion regarding the incident in Magelang was not rape, but Putri Candrawati's affair with Brigadier J, as in the prosecution file against the defendant Strong Ma'ruf, was only spices.

Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (Jampidum) AGO Fadil Zumhana said it appeared in the trial, from the testimony of a polygraph expert when Putri was asked, however, the prosecutor was allowed to quote an alinea in the indictment documents.

"However, there is a spice from the polygraph at the level of lies. The prosecutor may include him in one of his guidance paragraphs, that's okay," said Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (Jampidum) at the AGO Fadil Zumhana to reporters, Thursday, January 19.

However, it was emphasized that the entry of infidelity to the charges did not mean that the prosecutor was obliged to prove it. The reason is, in the case of the death of Brigadier J, the main problem or indictment regarding the alleged collapse of the plan.

"But we're not accusing us of cheating, we're still accusing the PC of premeditated murder," he said.

"There are spices from the polygraph whose name is expert information, so we respect it," continued Fadil.

In addition, Fadil also emphasized that in disclosing a criminal act, there is no need to prove the element of motive. The most important thing is the fulfillment of unlawful acts.

"I told you from the start, what was the motive, sir? For me there is no need for a motive, the important thing is that the elements are fulfilled. Because I don't want to talk about the motive, in that. The motive is only in the mind, only he and God know," said Fadil.

Meanwhile, on the previous occasion, the prosecutor concluded that there was no element of rape or sexual harassment against Putri Candrawathi behind the alleged murder case of Yosua alias Brigadier J. Instead, the incident that occurred in Magelang was an affair.

"That was true on Thursday, July 7, 2022, around the afternoon at FS's house in Magelang, there was an affair between victim J and witness PC," said the prosecutor.

The absence of elements of rape or sexual harassment was because the prosecutor did not agree with the expert statement from the Indonesian Forensic Psychology Association (Apsifor), Reni Kusuma Wardhani, in court some time ago.

At that time, the expert stated that there had been incidents of sexual harassment or violence.

The prosecutor actually trusted the statement from a polygraph expert, Aji Febrianto Ar-Rosyid, who said that there was an incident in Magelang, namely Putri Candrawati's affair with Brigadier J.

In addition, the conclusion is also based on the prosecutor's belief with the statement of Sesro Provos Divpropam Polri Kombes Sugeng Putut Wicaksono, household assistant, Susi, and the statements of the defendant Bharada Richard totaling.

The witnesses in the trial were never aware of any rape or sexual harassment by Brigadier J against Putri Candrawathi.

"There was no harassment on 7 2022 accounts in Magelang but an affair between witness Putri Candrawathi and victim Yosua Hutabarat," said the prosecutor.
