After The Workspace At The DKI DPRD Was Searched, Cinta Mega PDIP Was Ready To Provide Data If The KPK Needed
JAKARTA - The office of a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDIP faction, Cinta Mega, is one of the locations that was included in the search of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) team at the DKI DPRD building yesterday.
Cinta Mega opened her voice regarding this matter. He admitted that he would support the KPK to provide data related to the investigation if needed.
"I will support if data is needed," said Cinta Mega when contacted, Wednesday, January 18.
When the room was searched, Cinta Mega admitted that she was not there. However, based on the information she got, the KPK is looking for documents related to the discussion of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Commission C meeting regarding the budget in 2018.
"What I know about Commission C is because I am looking for 2018 documents, looking for discussion documents in Commission C at that time," said Cinta Mega.
However, Cinta Mega did not know exactly what budget procurement the KPK was looking for. "We as members of the council don't know anything about official spending. We only discussed whether or not the agency needed to be given a budget ceiling," he continued.
Yesterday, the KPK team searched the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building on Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta for about 5 hours. At around 20.55 WIB, the KPK team wearing masks came out carrying a number of suitcases.
During the search, the DKI DPRD Building was under tight guard by inside security officers (pamdals). Access to entry to two buildings within the DKI DPRD is closed.
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said that his party searched six rooms at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building. During this search, the KPK seeks to find evidence of alleged corruption in land acquisition in Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta by Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya in 2018-2019.
"At least 6 rooms were searched including the workspace on the 10th floor, 8, 6, 4, 2nd floor and the staff of Commission C of the DKI Jakarta DPRD," said Ali.
Ali did not want to specify which rooms the investigators ransacked. However, in the DKI DPRD Building, the 10th floor is the workspace of the Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, the 8th floor of the PDIP Faction room, the 6th floor of the PKS Faction room, the 4th floor of the Golkar Faction room, the 2nd floor of the Gerindra Faction room, and the room of Commission C of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.
Furthermore, Ali said, from this activity investigators found a number of evidences such as documents and electronic evidence allegedly related to alleged corruption in land acquisition in Pulogebang, East Jakarta.
"The Investigative Team found various documents and electronic evidence, including those allegedly related to the process of discussing and approving capital participation in Perumda SJ in the DKI Jakarta DPRD which was then used for land acquisition in Pulogebang, Jakarta," he said.
The KPK ensures that this evidence can shed light on the actions of the suspects. However, Ali did not want to reveal who the suspects had cost the country hundreds of billions.
Disclosure of the suspect will be carried out at the right time and accompanied by forced detention. "So far, the KPK has found preliminary evidence that there are allegations of unlawful acts, including parties that can be accounted for as suspects," he said.
"This case is related to allegations of corruption related to state financial losses. So far it is suspected that hundreds of billions of rupiah have been involved," Ali continued.
