Central Lombok Inspectorate Opens Special Consultation Village Officials Want To Prevent Using Budget
The Central Lombok Regency Inspectorate will open consultation services for village governments and regional apparatus organizations (OPD) as an effort to prevent budget misuse.
"This is one of the Inspectorate's innovations in order to increase supervision and guidance in regional financial management," said Head of the Central Lombok Regency Inspectorate, Lalu Aknal Afandi, in Praya, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Wednesday, January 18.
With this consulting service, he continued, it is hoped that the object entities being audited can understand the use of budgets that have not been understood and are in accordance with the rules.
This service is opened every day so that anyone who comes to conduct consultations is still provided with services.
"When there are village heads or other institutions that still do not understand the rules, they can carry out consultations and we are ready to provide services," he said, quoted by Antara.
He said, in the use of the budget, both sourced from the APBD and APBN there are already rules, it's just that there are still those who don't understand because they don't want to read the rules.
"The rules are complete, we just have to open them and study them together," he said.
The purpose of the consulting program in using the budget, he explained, is expected to anticipate budget misappropriation and the occurrence of criminal acts of corruption that can harm state finances so that his party as the government internal control apparatus (APIP) has the main duties and functions of monitoring and coaching.
"This is one of our efforts to prevent misappropriation of state finances," he said.
He asked the village heads, sub-district heads, OPD heads, and other organizational institutions that received grants to take advantage of these services to prevent unwanted things from happening.
"We are ready to provide consultation services every working day," he said.
