Luhut: Don't Overdo Talking In The Middle Of The COVID-19 Pandemic
JAKARTA - The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan asked all parties not to talk excessively or overdose in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis situation. This is because this can lead to conflict, especially when the social conditions in Indonesia are still heating up.
Luhut also hopes that in the difficult times caused by the pandemic, the community can unite for the sake of Indonesia's economic progress.
"Let's build unity, talk about the same interests, don't talk too much about doses that could lead to fights among us," he said, in a virtual discussion, Tuesday, December 29.
According to Luhut, in this difficult time the community must unite to focus on facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Because, everything in dealing with the impact of a pandemic is not done individually.
"Let us strengthen the unity to build Indonesia, to make Indonesia more efficient, to also reduce unnecessary conflicts that consume our energy in the development of this country we love," he said.
Not only that, Luhut also asked all elements of society to support the infrastructure development program. Because to push for better infrastructure is not an easy job. He hopes that society can reduce the friction that has occurred so far.
"Doing this job is not easy. Let us build a united front, talk about common interests.
I hope that the community can participate in supporting infrastructure development programs for an advanced Indonesia, "he explained.
