Noel Gallagher Calls Oasis Reunion Still Possible, But...
JAKARTA - Noel Gallagher said he "will never say he never" for the Oasis reunion.
Former Oasis guitarist - who announced his latest album Council Skies on Tuesday left Oasis in 2009, said he could not continue to work with his brother Liam Gallagher.
"You should never have said never (about the Oasis reunion)," Noel told BBC Manchester Radio.
But, he continued, if that happens it must really be an "extraordinary situation".
"That doesn't mean that the situation will never happen," he added.
In October last year, Noel said the Oasis reunion was useless because the band was able to sell a record that was far more numerous than when they were together.
Liam, on the other hand, has been very vocal in supporting the Oasis reunion in recent years. In February 2022, Liam said that Oasis "should never have disbanded", and that he would "fill" the iconic band back together.
The previous year, Liam said, in 2022 he would reform Oasis for free after Noel said the price was 100 million to get the band back together.
Noel then replied, saying he did not believe that Oasis should reunite, because the band's legacy was "dead".
