Police Hunt For Young Woman Murderer In Tulungagung

TULUNGAGUNG - Tulungagung Police, East Java (East Java) are hunting for the perpetrator of the murder of a young woman with the initials AF (24) who was identified as the victim's lover.

"We have named Mustakim (26) as a DPO (wanted list of persons/fugitives)," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tulungagung Police, AKP Agung Kurnia Putra, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 17.

He said the man who was still the victim's boyfriend had "disappeared" since the mysterious death of the AF victim.

"The alleged perpetrator was the last person who communicated with the victim before the murder," said Agung.

The police have been trying to find him, but he has not been found or has not been found.

"The Special Team has been running since a week ago, to carry out pursuit. Our estimate is that the suspected perpetrators are still on Java Island," he said.

Agung said the motive for the murder was allegedly related to romance. Because the day before the murder occurred, Agung also said, the witness said the victims AF and Mustakim were seen going together to a tourist spot.

"The alleged perpetrator also invited the victim to play the day before the unfortunate incident," he said.

Previously, on December 19, 2022, residents of Junjung Village, Sumbergempol District, Tulungagung were shocked by the discovery of a woman with the initials AF (24) who died from stab wounds all over her body.

The victim died with his body covered in blood in the room of his house in Junjung Village, Sumbergempol District, Tulungagung.
