Ridwan Kamil Claims Underpass Dewi Sartika Depok The Most Beautiful In Indonesia

West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said Dewi Sartika's Underpass in Depok City, West Java, is one of the most beautiful road tunnels in Indonesia with colorful ornaments about beautiful West Java.

"UnDERpass Dewi Sartika Depok is one of the most beautiful in Indonesia," said Ridwan Kamil, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 17.

Kang Emil, as Ridwan Kamil is called, asked Depok residents to maintain cleanliness and beauty and order.

"Don't use self-self because it can be dangerous. Just enjoy the beauty by looking at it through motorbikes and cars," he said.

At the time of the inauguration, the enthusiasm of hundreds of residents was already lined up on the side of the road who wanted to try Dewi Sartika's underpass and also saw the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil firsthand

"I want to see the governor, all this time I've only seen it on television," said a resident of Lio village, Susi.

Susi and five of her friends wanted to see the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil. "The person is communicative with the residents," said Susi when listening to the West Java Governor's remarks.

During the inauguration, Ridwan Kamil gave three bicycles to women who can play lato-lato, children who can mention 10 districts/cities in West Java and children who can recite the Koran.

The construction of Dewi Sartika's Underpass has been completed. The access road connecting Jalan Kartini, Margonda Street, and Jalan Raya Sawangan was inaugurated directly by the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil.

Depok Mayor Imam Budi Hartono hopes that the existence of Dewi Sartika's Underpass can overcome congestion in the area. In addition, it can also improve the economy of local residents.

The West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov) realized the underpass construction on Dewi Sartika Street, Pancoran Mas District, with a length of 470 meters. The development uses the West Java Province Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) worth IDR 108.6 billion.

Previously, the Depok City Government had carried out land acquisition with a total budget of IDR 189 billion. Meanwhile, the work has been carried out since March 1, 2022.
