One Step More Suspects In The Case Of The UMMI Hospital In Bogor

JAKARTA - The National Police Criminal Investigation Unit has conducted a case regarding the suspicion of obstructing the work of the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 by the Bogor Ummi Hospital, West Java, Monday, December 28. However, from the results of the case title, no party has been named a suspect.

"Not yet (the determination of the suspect), currently the evidence is still complete," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Brig. Gen. Andi Rian in his statement, Tuesday, December 29.

Andi said that in this case his party had to examine several more witnesses to determine the suspect. However, he was reluctant to mention the witnesses who would later be examined.

So far, the agenda for examining witnesses is being drafted. Later the witnesses were asked to explain everything they knew about the case.

"There are several witnesses. Scheduling is being made for examination," said Andi.

This case began when the Bogor City Ummi Hospital was reported to the police because it was considered to be blocking the work of the COVID-19 Task Force team. The hospital is said to have not provided a complete explanation of Rizieq Shihab's COVID-19 swab examination.

Then, the Managing Director of Ummi Hospital Andi Tatat denied that Rizieq Shihab and his family had fled from the hospital. Rizieq is said to have returned home at the request of his family.
