Starting With The Shouting Of Hysteris, A Source Of Fire That Was Held At The Papua Police Chief's Office Was Known

JAKARTA - The official residence of the Papua Police Chief, Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, caught fire. The source of the fire is thought to have come from the back of the house where the aide and household assistant (ART) live.

"The source of the fire is in the left corner of the back of the residence of the Regional Police Chief," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, to VOI, Tuesday, January 17.

The back of the house of the Papuan Police Chief is a building that is used as the residence of aides and household members.

Luckily, the incident did not cause any injuries or casualties. Meanwhile, Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri when the fire broke out was not at the scene.

"House of household administrators and aides or drivers," he said.

The fire began to burn the official residence of Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, who was on Jalan Trikora, Dok V Atas, Papua, at around 04.45 WIT.

The seconds of the fire began when one of the guard picket officers heard a hysterical scream from inside the house.

So, the guard immediately went into the house to check. Apparently, from behind the house a thick puff of smoke appeared.

"Not long after, an explosion was heard from inside the residence accompanied by flames," said Benny.

Currently, the cause of the fire is not yet known. Investigations and collection of clues are still being carried out.

"The causes of the fire are still being investigated," said Benny.
