Haikal Hassan Examined By Police: I Was Asked What Is The Evidence Of Meeting Rasulullah, Who Can Answer?
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya investigators asked about 20 questions against the Secretary General of Habib Rizieq Shihab Center (HRS Center) Haikal Hassan. Haikal was questioned by the police regarding his statement about the dream of meeting the Prophet.
"Over 20 (questions)," said Haikal to reporters after being questioned at Polda Metro Jaya, quoted by Antara, Monday, December 28.
Haikal said he was surprised when investigators asked him about evidence of his dream of meeting the Prophet.
"I was asked what evidence Haikal Hassan dreamed of the Prophet. What is the proof of dreaming of meeting the Messenger of Allah? Who can answer the evidence?" he said.
Haikal then told investigators that he did not carry a cell phone when he dreamed of meeting the Prophet.
"The funniest thing is what is the proof of Haikal Hassan dreaming of meeting the Prophet? How is the proof? When I dreamed I didn't have a cellphone," he said.
Haikal, who is also the spokesperson for the 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA), was reported by the Secretary General of the Islamic Fighting Forum Husin Shihab to Polda Metro Jaya.
Haikal was policed on the suspicion of spreading false news because he conveyed a dream of meeting the Prophet. Haikal's statement about the dream was made during the funeral process of five FPI troops in Megamendung, West Java.
