Proliga 2023 Standings After Week Two Of The First Round, Where Is The Position Of The Champion To Hold?
JAKARTA - The Indonesian volleyball competition, Proliga 2023, has passed the second week of the first round. An exciting battle and fierce competition has been seen.
The debutant team in the men's sector, Jakarta STIN BIN, stuck to defending champions Jakarta LavAni Allo Bank. STIN BIN has a total of 13 points or only one point adrift of LavAni who is at the top of the standings.
In the last two weeks, STIN BIN and LavAni have become the most dominant teams in the men's sector. STIN BIN has recorded four wins from five matches.
Meanwhile, LavAni was listed as the unbeaten team for the two most prestigious professional volleyball competitions.
Another team of men who tried to catch up with LavAni and STIN BIN was Surabaya BIN Samator, who last season was runner-up. Overall, Samator collected 10 points from three wins and two defeats.
In the women's sector, there are changes that occur in the standings. Jakarta Pertamina Fastron managed to shift the position of the defending champion team Bandung bjb Tandamata, which in the first week was at the top of the standings.
The two victories won by Pertamina Fastron in the second week of the first round, last week, led to first place with a total of 10 points, three wins and one loss.
Meanwhile, Bandung bjb Tandamata was evicted in second place with six points, the result was two wins and one loss. This point is the same as Jakarta BIN, which only lost on a winning set ratio.
The journey of the Proliga 2023 participating team is still long. All teams still have the opportunity to advance to final four. Round I also still leaves the third week at the PSCC Building, Palembang, South Sumatra, January 19-22.
After that, the participating teams will continue their journey by facing round II which also rolls for three weeks from February 4 to February 19.
After that, the four best teams from each sector will compete again in the final four which will also run for three weeks from February 23 to March 12. Followed by the grand final at the Amongrogo Sports Hall, Yogyakarta, on March 18-19.
