Check, These Are Two Productive Women's K-pop Idols At The End Of January

JAKARTA - A number of female K-pop idols will release their new works this January, girl group GOT the beat, which is shaded by SM Entertainment to girl group VIVIZ.

Citing The Korea Times report on Sunday, GOT the beat will release its first mini album (EP) titled "Stamp On It" on January 16. Fronted by the main single of the same name, this EP also consists of five other songs with various themes such as "Alter Ego" and "MALA".

GOT the beat is the first sub-unit to signal the start of the Girls On Top project which combines several female artists from SM Entertainment to showcase new musical styles and performances.

The new group consists of BoA, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon from Girls' Generation, Seulgi and Wendy from Red Velvet, and Karina and Winter from aespa. GOT the beat debuted with the song "Step Back" in 2022.

In addition to GOT the beat, soloist Choi Ye-na or known as Yena will also produce a new work in the form of the single album "Love War" on January 16. This singer is known as a former member of IZ*ONE who has now disbanded.

According to Yuehua Entertainment, Yena's single album will offer three songs, namely "Love War", "Love is over", and "Wash Away". This single album is fronted by the main song "Love War," featuring rapper BE'O.

Next on January 20, girl group TWICE is set to issue an English single titled "MONLIGHT SUNRISE". It took more than a year for the group to release the song in English, after releasing "The Feels" in 2021. After releasing "MONLIGHT SUNRISE", TWICE is set to release a mini new album in March.

Finally, there is girl group VIVIZ which will release their third mini album titled "VarioUS" on January 31 through various streaming platforms. Fronted by the title track "PULL UP", the upcoming EP will feature five other songs including "Blue Clue", "Love or Die", and "Vanilla Sugar Killer".
