Results And Standings Of The Sixth Day M4 Knockout Round: ONIC And RRQ Hoshi At Lower Bracket
JAKARTA - The peak event from the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang world event, the M4 World Championship is getting closer. On Thursday, January 12 yesterday, the Knockout round was held on the sixth day.
On this sixth day, there were four teams divided into two matches using the game format Best of 5 (BO5).
The four teams are The Valley (North America) vs. RRQ Akira (Brazil) from lower brackets and ONIC Esports (Indonesia) vs. ECHO (Philippines) in upper brackets.
The match opened with a team that was in the lower bracket first. In the first match, The Valley managed to win a point over RRQ Akira. Not wanting to be sent home early, RRQ Akira then equalized in the second match.
Even though the Brazilian mainstay team had won points, it seems that their hard work has not been able to bring luck to the team. Because in the last two matches, The Valley managed to win the 3-1 match over RRQ Akira.
Thus, RRQ Akira must return home with a 7th rank from this M4 event. The return of RRQ Akira follows the Incendio Supremacy from Turkey which is ranked 8th.
Having the same fate as the Indonesian team RRQ Hoshi, ONIC Esports must also submit when dealing with opponents from the Philippines with a final score of 1-3.
Despite having equalized points in the second match, ONIC's fate seems the same as that of RRQ Akira, who lost in the third and fourth matches. Thus, ONIC followed RRQ Hoshi in the lower bracket.
Thus, the two teams made by the Philippines Blacklist International and ECHO will meet in the next match to secure a seat in the Grand Final M4 first. While ONIC and RRQ Hoshi still have to try hard if they don't want to be eliminated.
