Dr. Dre,mengan Elliott, Dan Lil Wayne Dianugerahi Recording Academy Global Impact Award

JAKARTA - Grammy-winning musician Dr. Dre, faithist Elliott and Lil Wayne, as well as head/CEO Epic Records Sylvia Rhone will receive honorary awards at the Recording Academy Honors Presented by the Black Music Collective which takes place during Grammy Week at Hollywood. Palladium on February 2, 2023.

The four award recipients will receive the Recording Academy Global Impact Award for their personal and professional achievements in the music industry.

Adam Blackstone will return as music director and Rico Love as the Recording Academy Board of Trustees Vice Chair will host the show.

"I am very happy to honor and celebrate the four great people in the music industry," said the CEO of Recording Academy, Harvey Mason, as reported by Antara, Thursday.

Mason said last year's inauguration event was in the spotlight during Grammy Week. Now with the presence of Dr. Dre, total Elliot, Lil Wayne and Sylvia Rhone are expected to be an unforgettable honorary night.

"I am constantly proud of our Black Music Collective work because this is an important part of what we are doing at this Academy," Mason said.

The 65th Grammy Awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena (previously known as Staples Center) in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023 and will be broadcast live on CBS.

The event is sponsored by Amazon Music and Google Pixel. MVD Inc will return for a second year to produce the event.
