Viral Services Of IBox Senayan City, Unfriendly, End In Apology
JAKARTA - A video belonging to the TikTok @ julio.ioio account received the spotlight from netizens on various social media because he told his experience of shopping at iBox Senayan City, which he said the waiter was unfriendly.
In the short video, @ julio.ioio, who recently went shopping at Senayan City, decided to enter the iBox outlet to have a look at the iPhone 12. At that time, he, who was only dressed normally, namely t-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops, felt that he was being treated unpleasant from employees of iBox outlets.
"Imagine they are not really welcome because I wear clothes like this," said @ julio.ioio in the viral video.
When visiting the iBox outlet, he admitted that the employees at the shop were ignored. In fact, when he asked the difference between iPhone 11 and iPhone 12, the employees who served him did not answer.
"So the staff there are really not very friendly. I ask the difference between the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 11 which are not answered," he said.
Because the employee at iBox didn't answer his question, he decided to buy the iPhone 12 Pro. However, at that time he admitted that the employees who served him were not friendly even though he had bought goods from the shop.
"I saw the iPhone 12 Pro didn't have one minute after that I said to her sister, 'I want this one, the color is gold.' Just imagine that she didn't believe it until she called her friend and said, 'please take care of this person' , "he said.
"I want to say, serving someone doesn't have to be seen from the appearance," he added.
This video then went viral on various social media from Instagram to Twitter. Many netizens commented on this video and said @ julio.ioio only wanted to go viral but there were also those who claimed to have received the same treatment from these outlets.
Responding to this viral video, iBox defended itself. Through the Head of Communication of PT Erajaya Swasembada, Djunaidi admitted that he had interviewed the employees involved and researched the activities of the @ julio.ioio account owner via surveillance cameras or CCTV.
As a result, Djuanaidi claimed that the relevant iBox employee had welcomed the @ julio.ioio account owner along with greetings.
"Our staff then offered to help provide information, but the customer was silent. Our Syaf continued to accompany us until the customer was at the iPhone booth," said Djunaidi when confirmed, Sunday, December 27.
He said that his staff continued to explain the questions raised by the @ julio.ioio account until he finally chose the iPhone 12 Pro 256 GB.
Furthermore, the employee left because he felt his job was done. This is because the iPhone purchased by the TikTok account owner only has to be fitted with a scratch-resistant layer.
Seeing the difference between the chronology of events conveyed by the staff and the narrative of the video in circulation, Djunaidi mentioned Erajaya @ julio.ioio to solve problems in a family manner.
"We have invited the TikTok @ julio.ioio account owner via direct message and WhatsApp to stay in touch, but until now we have not received any response. We hereby urge those concerned to take the time to meet with our representatives," Djunaidi explained. .
After this clarification, @ julio.ioio then conveyed his apology through his TikTok account. He denied that he uploaded the video because he wanted it to go viral.
According to him, the video was intentionally uploaded so that iBox can improve the performance of employees at these Apple outlets.
"If iBox feels harmed, I apologize for the amount. This is purely just the opinion of the customer. I don't want to go viral either, what to do. This could be an input for iBox to improve. But if offended, I'm sorry," said @ julio.ioio .
In addition, @ julio.ioio also admitted that iBox employees did answer their questions. However, he was not satisfied with the answers given and assessed that the employee served him with no intention or reluctance.
"The question I asked (to the iBox staff, red), the answer was not satisfied, in my opinion. In my opinion, it was reluctant. So, the video is actually the customer's opinion," he said.
Furthermore, he said the video about the unfriendliness of iBox employees was only his personal opinion as a customer and had no other intentions. After all, he will remain a loyal customer of the outlet to buy Apple products.
"I am still a loyal customer of iBox. How come I want to buy a Macbook Pro Touchbar, iPad Pro is like an iPhone. I have two iPhones, I buy them all on iBox. But if I'm offended, I'm sorry," he concluded.
