PLN Rests On 7 National Strategic Projects In Sumatra And Aceh Throughout 2022
PT PLN (Persero) has successfully completed seven electricity infrastructure projects in North Sumatra and Aceh during 2022.
General Manager of PLN North Sumatra Development Main Unit (UIP SBU), Octavianus Duha detailed, the seven projects completed by PLN UIP SBU in 2022, namely the Extra High Voltage Substation (GITET) 275 kV Ulee Kareng, GITET 275 kV Sigli, GI 150kV Singkil, GITET 275 kV Si Simpang Empat, GI 150 kV Simpang Empat, Gayangan Tinggi Air Channel (SUTT) 275 kV Sigli-Ulee Kareng, SUTT 150 kV Subulussalam - Singkil.
"The national strategic project was also successfully completed with the realization of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) which reached 74.71 percent," he said in an official statement, Thursday, January 12.
He added that the high realization of TKDN which strengthens the reliability of the electricity system in North Sumatra and Aceh is proof of PLN's commitment to participate in increasing the role of local industries and also to improve the national economy.
Octavianus said the seven infrastructures on the island of Sumatra consisted of 2 transmission lines along 251.31 kilometers of circuits (kms) and 4 substations (GI) with a total capacity of 870 megavolt amperes (MVA).
"In achieving all of that, PLN UIP SBU continues to synergize with stakeholders including the TNI, Polri, Attorney General's Office and BPN in North Sumatra and Aceh along with the Land Offices in the regencies and cities in the two provinces until they finally managed to issue legal assets totaling 703 documents," he concluded.
