Jakarta Composite Index Opens Up To 6,070: BCA, Bukit Asam, Adaro Shares Sale By Foreign Investors
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) opened in the positive zone in early trading week, Monday, December 28. JCI opened higher by 1.02 percent or 61.31 points to the level of 6,070.02.
Opening the trade, 132 stocks rose, 16 stocks fell, and 99 stocks remained unchanged. Trading volume at the opening was recorded at 336.26 million shares with a transaction value of IDR 201.18 billion.
At 09.05 WIB, the shares most sold by foreign investors were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), which sold 1.3 million shares with a value of IDR 42.5 billion.
Then PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) sold 8.8 million shares with a transaction value of IDR 25.5 billion. In third place, PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) shares were sold for Rp. 11.8 billion with a transaction volume of 7.8 million shares.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst, M. Nafan Aji Gusta Utama said, technically, the JCI movement today still shows a positive signal.
"This indicates a potential strengthening in the JCI movement. So that today IHSG has the opportunity to go to the nearest resistance," Nafan said in his research.
Support and resistance are at 5,874.89 to 6,157.11. Nafan also recommended a number of shares that could be considered by investors, including PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (BNGA). PT Charoen Pokphand Tbk (CPIN), PT HM Sampoerna Tbk, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM), and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR).
