Song Hye Kyo Glad To Accept Positive Response Thanks To Korean Drama, The Glory
JAKARTA - Actress Song Hye Kyo is delighted after receiving praise for her acting in the series The Glory. It is known that since its premiere on Netflix, this series has reaped success both in Korea and internationally.
The actress admitted that her latest project made her show expressions or roles that she had never shown through other projects. Therefore he felt satisfied when his hard work received a good response.
"There are many dynamic scenes that Dong Eun (the character played by Song Hye Kyo) expresses her emotions," Song Hye Kyo's story quoted by Elle Korea as saying.
I am enthusiastic about showing emotions that I have never shown before. I am happy when resting after filming difficult scenes," he continued.
Talking about his character, Song Hye Kyo admitted that she did not monitor her acting when she played Moon Dong Eun. This is because she wants Dong Eun to be seen as a weak and helpless character.
I'm satisfied with Moon Dong Eun's character. I want her to look like a weak person. Someone who is determined to take revenge will raise weight but I think it would be more satisfied if the culprit was fought by someone who is small and weak and makes them think What's scary against that person?' Song Hye Kyo's story.
"At first I planned not to change clothes that often, but because of the work of this character, a teacher who was standing in front of the children, I had to look neat," he said.
When asked about the leak of The Glory's second part, Song Hye Kyo replied, The Glory Part 2 has a lot to reveal. And this will be very entertaining.
Previously, Song Hye Kyo admitted that she did not see her acting as Moon Dong Eun. He was worried that he would feel cheated in that way. He also expressed feelings when he learned the positive response in the trailer.
There were a lot of (positive) reactions like that when the trailer was released, so I didn't feel good. I think what I've been doing so far. Maybe because I've never shown this side to the audience so I have to work hard," Song Hye Kyo said in a Netflix commentary session.
The Glory tells of Moon Dong Eun's revenge (Song Hye Kyo) to the perpetrators of bullying during school. 17 years, Dong Eun designed a strategy until the bad day arrived. The first part of The Glory series can be watched while the second part will air in March.
