Bad Performance Of The Indonesian National Team In The 2022 AFF Cup Does Not Reduce Jordi Amat's Confidence: We Will Be Even Stronger

JAKARTA - The naturalized defender of the Indonesian national team, Jordi Amat, conveyed an in-depth message to all supporters. This was conveyed after the Garuda Squad lost to Vietnam in the 2022 AFF Cup semifinals.

In the second leg of the 2022 AFF Cup semifinals at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi Monday, January 9, Shin Tae-yong's team lost 0-2 to the hosts. The two Vietnamese goals that broke Indonesia's hopes were created through Nguyen Tien Linh's brace in the 3rd and 47th minutes.

Responding to the team's defeat, Jordi Amat immediately apologized to the people in the country.

Jordi Amat also promised to fight more to bring the Indonesian national team even better. Moreover, the Garuda Squad has talented young players.

"But I can promise that we will come back even stronger," he said.

"Since the beginning of joining the Indonesian national team, I believe this team will be better, many young players are talented and a good experience for all players," continued the Spanish-blooded player.

The defeat in the 2022 AFF Cup semifinals extended the coach's bad record, Shin Tae-yong, who never won against Vietnam, who was also coached by his compatriot, Park Hang Seo.
