Deadly Accident Suspect At Pasar Minggu Report Aiptu IC About Beatings
JAKARTA - A BNI employee with the initials H who was named a suspect in a deadly accident at Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, has reported Aiptu IC on the beating case. This case is also called the trigger for the deadly accident.
"The suspect has made a police report at the South Jakarta Police to report the case of a beating by a police officer to the person concerned," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Sunday, December 27.
Based on the suspect's statement and CCTV evidence, the beating incident began when he was driving on Jalan Mampang. At that time, H was about to turn towards Jalan Ragunan but suddenly his vehicle was cut off by a car driven by Aiptu IC.
The two of them were involved in a debate which led to the beating of H by Aiptu IC. Based on CCTV footage, the beating took place around Suluh Junior High School (SMP), Jalan Raya Ragunan, Jati Padang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
"The location is thought to be about 200 meters still on the same road," he said.
With this report, the case of alleged violence was handled by the Polda Metro Jaya Propam. Aiptu IC is checked to find out the details.
Previously it was reported that the police named a BNI employee who drove a Hyundai car with the initials H as a suspect.
"Based on the results of the case title, the accident investigator at the Traffic Police of the Jakarta Metro Police has named brother H, the Hyundai driver, as the suspect in this accident," Sambodo said in South Jakarta, Saturday, December 26.
As a result of this accident, the person with the initials H received suspicion in Article 311 Paragraph 5 of the UULAJ.
In this article, it is stated that every person who deliberately drives a motorized vehicle in a way or in a dangerous way that causes another person to die, can be punished with imprisonment of up to 12 years or a fine of Rp. 24 million.
Meanwhile, the police officer with the initials IC who was involved in the accident and hit the motorcyclist to death is still a witness.
