The arrest of Lukas Enembe was made at a restaurant. According to information, the restaurant is in Abepura District, Jayapura City. The arrests took place at around 11.00 WIT.
The KPK itself had summoned Lukas Enembe on September 12, 2022. Unfortunately he was not present for health reasons. The second summons was made by the KPK on September 25, 2022, but again he was absent from the summons for the same reason.
Although he was absent from the KPK's summons, he actually had the opportunity to inaugurate several government buildings in Papua. The inauguration of the building by Lukas Enembe occurred in December 2022.

Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius D Fakhiri admitted that some residents were not satisfied with the arrest of Governor Lukas.
