Many Criticized By Citizens For Unfriendly Staff, IBox Martial
JAKARTA - One of the TikTok social media accounts with the username @ julio.ioio uploaded a video containing his experience of buying a cellphone at an iBox outlet in Senayan City.
The account claimed to have had a bad experience because he felt that the iBox staff were unfriendly because he entered the outlet wearing a t-shirt and flip-flops.
Finally, the video went viral on other social media, such as Instagram and Twitter. Also, the iboxindonesia social media account was also bombarded with criticism by netizens.
Responding to this, PT Erajaya Swasembada, as the owner of the iBox outlet, defended itself. PT Erajaya Swasembada Head of Communication, Djunaidi, admitted that he had interviewed the staff involved and researched the activities of the @ julio.ioio account owner via CCTV.
Djuanaidi claimed that the iBox staff had welcomed the @ julio.ioio account owner with greetings.
"Our staff then offered to help provide information, but the customer was silent. Our Syaf remained with us until the customer was at the iPhone booth," said Djunaidi when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, December 27.
Djunaidi said, his staff continued to explain the questions raised by the @ julio.ioio account, until finally he chose the iPhone 12 Pro 256 GB.
The account owner then moves on to the accessories section. Djunaidi said the staff in question left the @ julio.ioio account owner because the cellphone purchase process had been completed and only had to install a scratch-resistant layer.
Seeing the difference between the chronology of events conveyed by the staff and the narrative of the video in circulation, Djunaidi mentioned Erajaya @ julio.ioio to solve problems in a family manner.
"We have invited the TikTok @ julio.ioio account owner via direct message and WhatsApp to stay in touch, but until now we have not received any response. We hereby urge those concerned to take the time to meet with our representatives," Djunaidi explained. .
