Random Check Rapid Antigen Test In Central Java, 11 Positive Samples For COVID-19
SOLO - The Ministry of Transportation has held a randomized rapid antigen test in a number of Implementing Units (Satpel) at the Central Java Land Transportation Management Agency (BPTD). Random tests are carried out in line with the Circular of the Minister of Transportation Number SE 20/2020 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of People Travel by Land Transportation during the Christmas Period of 2020 and New Year 2021 in the Pandemic Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19). The Directorate General of Land Transportation conducted a random test.
This random test was held at Tirtonadi Terminal, Mangkang Terminal, Pemalang Terminal, UPPKB Ajibarang, UPPKB Tanjung Brebes, UPPKB Subah, and UPPKB Wanareja. Meanwhile, Friday 25 December, to coincide with Christmas Day, Secretary of the Directorate General of Land Transportation, Marta Hardisarwono, who was present conducted direct monitoring at Tirtonadi Terminal, said that, "This rapid antigen test is being carried out on young women, bus passengers, and logistic transport drivers. passengers, and drivers of goods transport who undergo the rapid antigen test can be different at each terminal and UPPKB. For Tirtonadi Terminal in one day it reaches up to 80 people. To avoid crowds, the implementation is divided into two shifts, for shift I at 06.00-10.00 WIB and shift II from 18.00-22.00. "
Until this news was published, the total examination as a whole reached 765 samples. There are 754 samples tested negative and 11 samples tested positive. After getting the results of the examination, travelers with negative results are allowed to continue their journey. Those who are positive will be placed in a terminal isolation room where the Covid-19 Handling Task Force team will pick them up.
"In this case, even though the prospective passenger who carried out the rapid antigen test was declared negative, I hope that all people will adhere to 3M's health protocol, namely wearing a mask, washing hands with soap and running water, and maintaining a safe distance of at least 1 meter," said Marta Hardisarwono.
This rapid antigen examination is carried out by involving medical personnel who will be on standby at the main entrance to the terminal. First of all, travelers and passengers of Intercity and Interprovincial (AKAP) buses are required to go through body temperature checks when entering the terminal, then register by showing their ID cards to the officers, after which they are invited to undergo a rapid antigen test.
In addition, for travel by land transportation from and to Java Island and within Java Island (between provinces / districts / cities), the rapid antigen test which is considered valid no later than 3x24 hours before departure, is then used as a travel requirement and travelers are also required to fill in e-HAC Indonesia.
In conducting this rapid antigen test, the Ministry of Transportation is working with the local Health Office. Marta also said that this activity will last until the New Year holidays 2021.
