JCI Back Up 1.08 Percent To The Level 5,947.51
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) jumped high at the opening of trading on Tuesday, February 4. JCI rose 63.34 points or 1.08 percent to 5,947.51. Previously, JCI fell by 55.88 points or 0.94 percent to 5,884.17.
Starting today's trading, Jakarta, there were 35 stocks that rose, 3 stocks fell, and 7 stocks were stagnant. Trade transactions reached IDR 37.74 billion from 9.28 million shares traded.
The LQ45 index rose 3.89 points or 0.4 percent to 9965.87, the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) index fell 0.97 points or 0.2 percent to 641.83, and the IDX30 index rose 2.07 points or 0, 4 percent to 529.01.
Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia analyst, Lanjar Nafi predicts that today's JCI will decline with support and resistance levels in the range of 5,850-5,940. "We still estimate that JCI has the potential to be under pressure even though there is still hope for a technical rebound," he said.
Some of the shares that he recommended to investors include PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) and PT Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP), PT Industri Jamu and Pharmaceuticals Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO), PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), and PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN).
In this morning's trade, stocks that entered the top gainers, namely PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) rose IDR 575 or 1.8 percent to IDR 32,775, shares of PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) rose IDR 475 or 0.9 percent to IDR 55 .950, and shares of PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) increased by IDR 225 or 2.2 percent to IDR 10,275.
Meanwhile, stocks that entered the top losers, among others, shares of PT Kino Indonesia Tbk (KINO) fell IDR 60 or 2 percent to IDR 2,940, shares of PT Pool Advista Indonesia Tbk (POOL) fell IDR 35 or 34.3 percent to IDR 67, and shares of PT PGN Tbk (PGAS) fell IDR30 or 1.8 percent to IDR1,670.
