At The Leadership Forum, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim Calls Prisons To Create More Understanding Free And Democratic Arts

JAKARTA - Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim revealed that the suffering he experienced, including while in prison, was not comparable to the suffering of the Malaysian people."I am ashamed to write down my suffering, because it is smaller than the suffering felt by the majority of the people," said Anwar Ibrahim at the CT Corp Leadership Forum in Jakarta, Antara, Monday, January 9.According to him, there is a lesson that can be learned from everything he experiences, including in the political scene. "It worries me. I better understand what free and democratic means, because I know the experience of living in the cage," he said.Anwar also said that as someone who had been left out, he understood what social justice meant.
