Realization Of PMA Investment In The Integrated Industrial Zone Batang Tembus Rp4 Trillion
The realization of foreign investment investment (PMA) in the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate and Industrial Park Area (KI-BIP) has only reached IDR 4 trillion from the overall target set of IDR 9.2 trillion in 2022.
Head of the Batang Regency Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Wahyu Budi Santoso said the amount of investment realization achieved by the district government (Pemkab) from January 2022 to September 2022 was only IDR 5.6 trillion.
"Yes, it is only the acquisition until the third quarter because the realization of investment from October to December 2022 is still waiting for an official release from BKPM. From the achievement of investment realization of IDR 5.6 trillion, IDR 4 trillion of which was contributed from PMA," Wahyu Budi said as quoted by Antara, Monday, January 9.
According to him, the presence of the Batang Integrated Industrial Zone (KIT) and the Batang Industrial Park Industrial Estate greatly helped achieve investment realization in the area.
Moreover, he said, the two areas are now an investment magnet for Domestic Investment (PMDN) and PMA.
Wahyu Budi said that a number of PMAS that had contributed to investment in the regions included KCC Glass, Wafin from the Netherlands, and the Indonesian Ceramic House.
"The plan is that in 2023 there will be additional new investors who will occupy KIT Batang land. There are shoe factories from China, furniture from England, and electricity lights from America, then the other two are PMDN," he said.
He said the realization of the investment value in 2021 reached IDR 7.5 trillion from the set target of IDR 8.4 trillion.
"The 2023 target has not been set because it is still waiting for the release of the investment value until December 2022 from the BKPM," concluded Wahyu Budi.
