JAKARTA - A number of large banks continue to provide services even though on a limited basis during the Christmas and New Year 2021 holidays. They are PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BRI), PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA), PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk ( BNI).

As is well known, the government set a holiday on December 24 to 27 2020. Holidays do not apply on December 28, 29, and 30, 2020. New holidays will re-apply on December 31, 2020 to January 3, 2021.

Even though it operates, banking services during the Christmas and New Year holidays remain restricted. Operations are also focused on public services that are often needed by customers or the public.

1. Bank BRI

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. provided limited operational services in 122 BRI work units throughout Indonesia on December 26 and 31 with the implementation of standard health protocols. These limited services include opening deposit accounts, withdrawals and deposits to savings accounts, loan deposit services, state revenue deposits, pick up services and complaint handling services.

For other types of services, namely services for receiving payments for fuel and non-fuel purchases from gas stations / merchants, BRI provides limited operational services on 26 December, 31 December, and 2 January 2021.

Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Rudi As Aturridha said that his party has anticipated the peak increase in customer transactions which is expected to be on December 16-31 2020 so that the ATM filling limit will be optimized in that period.

4. Bank BNI
