1 Stage House In Bone Sulsel Ludes Burns, The Loss Is Estimated To Be IDR 100 Million
The fire accident scorched a unit of a resident's stilt house on Jalan Pasinringeng, Biru Village, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel), Sunday, January 8, at around 11.00 WITA.
The victim, named Hendra Jaya (40), said the sound of an explosion was heard from above the house before the unfortunate incident occurred. Out of curiosity, Hendra checked up and saw the flames in the room.
Seeing this, Hendra tried to save himself and valuables. However, the red rooster quickly burned all parts of the house along with other important items and furniture.
At 11.55 WITA, five fire engines (Damkar) arrived at the scene. Only at 13.15 WITA, the fire was successfully extinguished by firefighters assisted by the community and local government.
Not long after, personnel from Battalion C Pioneer Sat Brimob South Sulawesi Police also arrived at the location of the fire.
Present in a brown uniform, Brimob Bone personnel set up platoon tents and velbads.
"As soon as there was information that a house was on fire, we immediately dispatched the Pioneer Battalion C SAR team to help clean up the rubble of residents' houses affected by the fire accident. We also set up an emergency tent as temporary shelter for victims and their families," said Battalion (Danyon) Commander C Pioneer of the South Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade Unit, Kompol Nur Ichsan, confiscated by Antara.
According to him, this activity was carried out as a form of Brimob's concern for the community, especially those who were hit by the disaster.
"Hopefully what we do can ease the burden of the fire victims a little," he said.
This fire incident is thought to have been caused by a short circuit. Although there were no casualties, the material loss is estimated at around Rp. 100 million.
