Manchester United's Cute Plan, Change Cristiano Ronaldo With The Burnley Striker Borrowed By Besiktas
JAKARTA - Manchester United is considering a surprising move. The Premier League club wants to sign Burnley striker, Wout Weghorst.
The Dutch striker is currently loaned to Turkish club Besiktas. However, the deal could end sooner to bring him to Old Trafford.
Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, is in need of a striker following the termination of Cristiano Ronaldo's contract.
The Red Devils had considered borrowing Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid. However, the club management refused to meet the price requested by the Spanish side.
Weghorst, who scored an amazing equalizer in the Netherlands against Argentina in Qatar's 2022 World Cup quarter-finals, emerged as an alternative.
The 30-year-old forward has garnered nine goals and four assists in 18 appearances in all competitions alongside Besiktas.

One of them was against Kasimpasa, this weekend. The goal was followed by an action that could be an indication that was the last.
Weghorst was seen kissing the Besiktas logo before waving at fans. This action hints at a move to Old Trafford very likely.
The player has struggled for Burnley during the second half of last season in the Premier League. Unfortunately the former Wolfsburg star was unable to save The Clarets from relegation.
He has recorded two goals and three assists in 20 appearances in the Premier League.
