JAKARTA - Great director, Sir Peter Jackson released exclusive footage from The Beatles: Get Back. This documentary about The Fab Four will be Peter Jackson's upcoming project.

The three-time Oscar-winning director said: We want to give Beatles fans around the world a holiday gift.

"So we put together these five minute snippets for our upcoming theatrical film 'The Beatles: Get Back'. We hope it will bring smiles to everyone's faces and much needed joy at this difficult time."

Through The Beatles: Get Back, Peter Jackson will provide a unique cinematic experience to bring audiences back in time, to be precise to the intimate recording sessions of The Beatles during important moments in music history.

This film features the warmth, friendship and creative genius that defines the legacy of George, Ringo, John and Paul. Shot in January 1969, the film consists of 60 hours of unseen footage filmed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg.

The film also contains over 150 hours of audio. The Beatles: Get Back will be a huge gift for fans, with brilliantly restored images and audio.

The Beatles: Get Back is the story as the Beatles plan their first live show in more than two years and chart the writing and rehearsal of 14 new songs. This pictorial and audio material was originally intended to be released in an accompanying live album.

For the first time the film features the Beatles' final live performance as a group, in an unforgettable rooftop concert on Savile Row, London. The Beatles: Get Back will also feature other classic songs and compositions from the last two albums, "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be".

An exciting new collaboration between The Beatles and Peter Jackson will be released in collaboration with The Walt Disney Studios and Apple Corps Ltd. and WingNut Films Productions Ltd.
