2 Chinese People Become Smelter Fire Victims In Central Halmahera, Here's The Condition

Central Halmahera District Police Chief, AKBP Moh Zulfikar Iskandar said the victim suffered serious burns.
He explained that the fire at PT.IWIP's L smelter on Friday was around 12.19 WIT. At that time, the victim was immediately evacuated from the scene to the clinic owned by PT IWIP to get medical assistance.
"Seven ferronickel employees in Central Halmahera suffered burns, two of whom were foreign nationals (foreigners) from China," said Moh Zulfikar Iskandar, as quoted by Antara.
They are now being referred to Dr. H Chasan Boesoirie Ternate Hospital with the PT IWIP ambulance for further treatment.
In fact, two of them suffered serious burns and will be referred to Jakarta. Luckily, no one died in this incident.
The seven victims of the burns were named Boni La Ndala (28) as Deputy Formen, Suhendra (25) Spokesperson for PT IWIP, Abdul Qohar Tuhuteru, Randi Jole and Riko Talebo with the status of employees of PT IWIP,
Meanwhile, two foreign victims from China named Zhang Gou Zhao (30) and Zhang Liong, who served as Deputy Formen of PT IWIP.
As for the chronology of the fire in the L smelter belonging to PT IWIP and from witness testimony, at around 12.19 WIT, it was observed that from the control room there had been damage to the coal reservoir at the 4th Floor Smelter L.
From the control room, it was conveyed to members in the field, to immediately check the damage. After checking, it is true that there was damage to the coal reservoir.
Then before a few minutes later there was an explosion coming from the 6th floor of the L smelter, which was suspected to be a big house pipe located on the 6th floor of Limo smelter L.
"Our team is still working in the field conducting investigations and investigations to determine the real cause of the fire," said Moh Zulfikar Iskandar.
