South Jakarta District Court Denying The Viral Problem Of Judge Mati Ferdy Sambo's Sentence: There Are Framing
JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court denied the viral vote of the chairman of the panel of judges Wahyu Iman Santoso, who was said to have leaked the verdict against Ferdy Sambo in the alleged murder case of Brigadier J.
The reason is that the special trial process for the defendant Ferdy Sambo will only enter the stage of the defendant's examination.
"According to the provisions of the Law, what was conveyed by him. So there is nothing in the context of leaking, what was leaked? The verdict has not yet been made, the demands have not yet," said Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Djuyamto to reporters, Friday, January 6.
In addition, based on the viral video believed to be the result of editing, Judge Wahyu was said to only convey normative matters.
Moreover, in the case of premeditated murder which is contained in Article 340 of the Criminal Code (KUHP), there is indeed a maximum threat of the death penalty and life imprisonment.
"He stated that it was only normative. The norm that the 340 case could be the death penalty, it could be for life, it could be 20 years," he said.
Thus, it is suspected that there are parties who deliberately frame the handling of the case. In fact, all cases will be decided objectively in accordance with the considerations and facts of the trial.
"Yes, of course, if there is a framing there. There is a framing, there is a narrative," said Djuyamto.
Sebagai informasi, pada video yang beredar dan diunggah akun Tiktok @penlikasus, terlihat seorang pria yang disebut sebagai Wahyu Iman Santoso sedang menggimpon seseorang.
In the narrative, it is stated that the party contacted is the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto.
Then, after calling, the man spoke about the defendant Ferdy Sambo with a woman in front of him. However, the figure of the woman is unknown.
"No, the problem is he doesn't really make sense to shoot with a Yosua gun. But it's okay, it's fine. I won't pressure him to admit it, I don't need recognition," said the man.
Then, the man in the video also said that the panel of judges handling the case did not need recognition but trial facts.
"I don't need recognition. We can judge for ourselves. Go ahead and say I want to make it like that. Yesterday, my mouth was actually stuck, but I just gave it a break," he said.
