Viral Living In A Luxury House Without Water-Electricity, Mrs. Eny Is Offered A Socio- And Child Institutional Results Facilitated By Package C Pursuits
JAKARTA - Eny Sukaesi and his son, Tiko, suddenly received attention after his story that went viral on social media some time ago.
They are busy being discussed because they live in abandoned luxury houses without electricity and water in Jatinegara Village, East Jakarta.
East Jakarta Mayor M. Anwar revealed that the Social Service offered to take care of Eny at the Werdha Panti in Cipayung, a social institution owned by the DKI Provincial Government, if his family allowed it. Given, currently Eny is known to have a mental disorder.
"We have prepared everything at the Werdha Panti, it's free. The child can come to visit, there are no problems," Anwar said in a written statement, Thursday, January 5.
In addition, the child, Tiko will be facilitated by the local RT/RW to be able to continue his education by participating in the Kejari Package C program. Meanwhile, Tiko is being empowered as a security officer at his residence.
Currently, Eny has received medical treatment and an assessment from a psychiatrist at the Duren Sawit Hospital until he recovers.
"Mrs. Eny's treatment at the Duren Sawit Hospital since December 30, 2022 until today. Her latest condition has been better even though she still needs assistance so that Mrs. Eny can be more controlled," he said.
It was stated that a number of previous assistance had been given to Mrs. Eny and her child. In 2019, the DKI Provincial Government visited Ibu Eny for the manufacture of electronic ID cards, in 2020 BPJS Kesehatan was made, then registered with Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) in 2020 and was determined by the Ministry of Social Affairs in February 2022.
In addition, in 2021, the cash social assistance ATM (BST) and in 2023 will be included in the prospective recipients of the elderly basic needs fulfillment program (PKD).
For information, Tiko takes care of his mother who is suspected of experiencing depression for 12 years at his abandoned luxury house. Tiko dropped out of school since she was in junior high school.
Eny is suspected of having been depressed since her husband left her in 2010. To survive at home without water and electricity, Tiko and her mother held rain for bathing and cooking purposes.
On Wednesday, January 4, Eny's abandoned luxury house was finally cleaned by the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat Jaktim) with a number of community groups.
