Tens Of Thousand Masses Will Celebrate The PDIP Anniversary At JIExpo, DPP: Sorry If Disrupt Community Activities

PDI-P will hold its 50th anniversary celebration at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on January 10.

Chairman of the Honorary Council of the PDIP DPP Komarudin Watubun apologized if this event disrupted community activities. Bearing in mind, the potential for traffic jams will occur because the PDIP anniversary will be attended by tens of thousands of people.

"We apologize first if it interferes with community activities, if our activities will disrupt traffic because there is a large mass mobilization, the range of tens of thousands of Cibubur will enter there," said Komarudin when met at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, January 5.

Komarudin came to City Hall to meet the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono to submit an invitation to Heru's presence at the PDIP Anniversary event.

In addition, Komarudin also asked Heru for help in deploying the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government in regulating the smooth running of traffic during the party's birthday celebration bearing the bull symbol.

Responding to this, Heru admitted that he would comply with the request for traffic regulation. "Of course there is a movement of the PDIP masses starting from predetermined points. We as the regional government help the smooth running," said Heru.

PDIP plans to hold its 50th Anniversary with the theme "The Handband of Unity with the Mutual Cooperation and the Spirit of the Fire of Struggle Nan Tak Kunjung Padam" with the Sub-Theme "Indonesia's Unity to Indonesia Raya".

This celebration will initially be held at Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan. However, because the stadium will be prepared for the U20 World Cup soccer event, it will be transferred to JIexpo Kemayoran.

Later, PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri will have many dialogues with her cadres as a consolidation step.
