Falcon 7X And 8X Aircraft Landing At Halim Air Base, KSAU Menyuruh Tradisi Pengambutan
The Indonesian Air Force (AU) held a tradition of welcoming French Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X types of Dassault jets at Hangar Air Squadron 17 Halim Perdanakusuma Airfield (Lanud), Jakarta.
Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo, said the welcoming tradition was a prayer from the Indonesian Air Force for pilots and crew of Falcon 7X and 8X aircraft to get safety in operating the two aircraft.
"To the entire crew, immediately adjust in operating the Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X aircraft. Keep learning and improve the control of the Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X aircraft," said Fadjar at Hangar Air Squadron 17, Wednesday, January 4.
The tradition of welcoming the Falcon 7X and 8X aircraft includes a number of activities, such as prayer together, embedding the 17th Air Squadron logo on both planes, as well as breaking the jug and spraying flower water.
Fadjar added that the Falcon 7X and 8X aircraft were operated to support the command and control of the TNI leadership, the Indonesian Air Force, and even other state institutions in carrying out state duties, as reported by Antara.
On the same occasion, he expressed his gratitude to President Joko Widodo for approving the addition of the main weapon system (defense equipment) for the Indonesian Air Force. According to him, the presence of the two aircraft is one of the efforts to make the Indonesian Air Force a respected air force in the region.
Falcon 7x and Falcon 8x arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, on December 27, 2022. Previously, the jet-powered VVIP/VIP TNI AU transport plane was flown from France to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on December 26, 2022.
Then, the two planes continued their flight to Indonesia and arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base Jakarta on December 27, 2022. The arrival of the plane was also reviewed by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto on December 28, 2022.
