Construction Of Huntap For People Affected By The Cianjur Earthquake Is Targeted To Bempung Before Lebaran
JAKARTA - Director General of Housing Iwan Suprijanto said the Ministry of PUPR will continue to strive to ensure the construction of the RISHA goes according to the plan that has been set.
Previously, the PUPR Ministry targeted the construction of RISHA to reach 80 units by the end of 2022.
"Our promise, in the new year, the community can occupy 80 units of RISHA. Thank God, we have completed 95 RISHA units in Sirnaginalih Village, Cilaku District, which will later build 200 units of type 36/75 houses on an area of 2.5 hectares," said Iwan in a written statement, Wednesday, January 4.
"In the second location in Mulyasari Village, Mande District, 151 units (RISHA) will be built on an area of 1.9 hectares. Currently, four units have been built there," he continued.
Regarding the 95 RISHA units, said Iwan, the construction has reached 100 percent and is built complete with roofs, floors and walls.
Furthermore, there are 69 units of RISHA that are being installed with walls and floors, as well as 24 units of RISHA whose structure is already installed.
Iwan also advised the implementers of the construction of PT. Brantas Abipraya (Persero) to work properly, quickly and always prioritize quality building quality.
"Currently, our first phase of construction has exceeded the target. We are optimistic that the remaining development in the second phase can be completed according to the target in the third week, in January 2023," he said.
In addition to building earthquake-resistant houses using the RISHA method which has two bedrooms, family rooms, bathrooms and kitchens, the Ministry of PUPR will also complement the Public Infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU), in the form of electrical connections, clean waterways and sanitation, so that people can immediately inhabit the house and not stay in refugee camps for too long.
With a gradual completion, the Ministry of PUPR hopes that all work can be completed according to the target given by the Minister of PUPR, namely before Eid Al-Fitr 2023.
On the same occasion, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Maruf Amin said, the construction of Permanent Residentship (huntap) in the form of earthquake-resistant houses built using the technology of a Healthy Simple Instant House (RISHA) is intended for people affected by the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java.
"Alhamdulillah, currently 95 houses have been completed from 200 houses in the relocation area in Sirnagih Village, Cilaku District, Cianjur Regency," he said.
Ma'ruf explained that the government has prepared a relocation area in Cilaku District covering an area of 2.5 hectares and in Mande District covering an area of 1.9 hectares for people whose houses are in faults of the Cugenang active fault.
Meanwhile, for people whose homes are not in faults of the Cugenang active fault, there is no need to move to the relocation area.
The reason is, the government will continue to provide assistance in repairing houses whose size adjusts to the level of damage.
"For residents in this relocation area, a Decree (SK) will be made by the Regent of Cianjur. It is hoped that it can be carried out as soon as possible," he said.
