There Is A Scandal In The Arsenal Vs Newcastle United Match

JAKARTA - Arsenal failed to pick up full points at home to Newcastle United in the Premier League match, Wednesday, January 4 in the morning WIB. Competing at the Emirates Stadium, The Gunners drew 0-0 against their guests.

This is the first time Arsenal have failed to pick up full points at home in the Premier League scene.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was disappointed with this result, especially the referee's performance. He considered that his team was entitled to two penalty prizes.

First when Dan Burn fouled Gabriel Malgahaes for pulling his shirt. Then when Jacob Murphy did a handball at the end of the match.

However, the referee did not have the same opinion as Arteta. The man from Spain also called this a scandal in the match.

"I am very proud of my players, our way of playing, the way we dominate and keep trying to do it," Arteta said after the game.

"We lost in the final third of the game, where it was part of the final, we had a situation where we could end it better, and we had two penalty scandals."

He insisted, "That's two penalties, it's really simple. I talked about what I saw and it was two penalties."

With this result, Martin Odegaard and his friends failed to stay away from Manchester City's pursuit. The Gunners are currently collecting 44 points, eight points clear of City, who this week faced Chelsea.
