Minister Bahlil Met The Acting Governor Heru: This Is The First Time That Our Communication Is Good, Previously It Has Not Been Maximal
JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia views the communication network between the Ministry of Investment and the DKI Provincial Government regarding the business licensing and investment process in Jakarta as very good. This was revealed by Bahlil when he met the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono at DKI Jakarta City Hall."Honestly, during licensing, this is the first time that our communication has been very good between the DKI government and the Ministry of Investment," said Bahlil, Tuesday, January 3.According to Bahlil, since Heru's leadership, coordination between the DKI Provincial Government and the central government regarding the implementation of the business licensing system in the online single submission risk based approach (OSS-RBA) includes the exchange of data running faster.Meanwhile, when Anies Baswedan's leadership served as Governor of DKI Jakarta previously, Bahlil admitted that this coordination did not run quite optimally."We haven't maximized it. This, Pak Heru, has a patent because of the acceleration," he said.During the meeting, Bahlil said that his party agreed to form a small team in the context of accelerating investment in Jakarta with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.Bahlil said this small team will be tasked with assisting business actors in accelerating the licensing issuance process which is now being carried out electronically in the OSS licensing integrated system."In order to accelerate investment in DKI, one of the conditions is the ease of doing business, the acceleration of licensing, all of which are through OSS. We have agreed to form a small team, to unravel what can be done in order to help the Jakarta business world," said Bahlil. This small team, said Bahli, will be filled by employees of the Investment Service and One Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) and employees of the Ministry of Investment/BKPM."We think this should be achieved, because if it is not developed, these efforts will be hampered (the investment licensing process). So, we do not want to hinder job creation," explained Bahlil.
